To simplify the print processing setting at the printing of a terminal displaying label pasted to a terminal stand or a base board and of a displaying tube installed onto a wire connecting with the terminal display by the terminal displaying label.

In the print controlling section 18 of a tape printer, a data area 20a, in which a plurality of sets of print processing data can be housed, is provided so as to house print processing data for displaying label and print processing data for tube. The print processing data are selected with print processing data selector keys so as to allow to freely change the settings of respective items. When the characters having the same content are printed on a tape and a tube under the condition that their due forms or the like are respectively changed, tape printing can be carried out on the basis of the print processing data for displaying label while the printing on a tube can be carried out by selecting the print processing data for tube, resulting in reducing the labor for inputting data and changing setting.
