Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing device allowing anyone to easily and efficiently create a label of a different date or a different number in which the text has the same contents as the previous time.SOLUTION: When the contents of the previously printed text include a date or a number, the contents of the text printed in association with the date or the number are stored in a nonvolatile memory. When a user inputs "shi" for creating a label with a different date or a number with the same contents as the previous time, a candidate text such as "1. new product project plan 2010/8/10", "2. merchandise lineup 1" read from the nonvolatile memory and a cursor 49 are displayed on a screen. When the user selects a text with a date, a cursor 52 is displayed below the inversely displayed date 51. When the user rewrites only the date and presses a print key, a confirmation inquiry text 54 of "A tape of a 9 mm width was used previously. Execute printing ?" is displayed. When a completion button is pressed when "YES" of a confirmation selection button 55 is inversely displayed, printing is started.
