To provide a tape printing system which further enriches a function concerning printing.
This invention relates to the tape printing system in which a printing image is partitioned into a multiple number and it prints one by one into a plurality of tape members, and which has an enlargement printing kind in which the above-mentioned printed image is formed on one false label assumed to have carried out the side-by-side arrangement of a plurality of printing labels formed of printing to a tape width direction. Additionally, it has a tape kind detecting means for detecting whether a loaded tape is a transparent tape or an un-transparent tape, and a picture division method change means which makes a user do optionally setting of the picture division method which distributes the above-mentioned printed image to a plurality of tape members when the loaded tape is a transparent tape.
