Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain monitor recording using an external speaker by disconnecting an internal speaker from a speaker-amplifier attenuation circuit by a switch interlocking with the connection of the external speaker. CONSTITUTION:A sound from internal speaker 1 is recored by head 8 and the output of pre-amplifier 4 is damped by sound-damping resistor R2 grounded through switches S1b and S2b to apply no sound signal from main amplifier 5 to internal speaker 6, so that howling recording due to the emission of a sound from speaker 6 will never occur. With an external speaker connected to external connection terminal 10, switches S2b and S2a are closed interlocking with the connection to disconnect speaker 6 from amplifier 5 and resistance R2 from the earth, so that monitor recording will be attained by microphone 1 or an external microphone connected to terminal 7 and the external speaker.
