Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape-shaped label making device which sets up easily for an existing printing color and also can set up for a ribbon cassette of a newly added printing color.
SOLUTION: After a text being input, printing color order setting treatment control is implemented. First, since a message [How many are printing colors ?] is indicated on a display, color number setting treatment for setting up the number of colors N is implemented by operating a numeral key, and the number of colors N is stored in a color number memory (S25). Next, since a message [1. Order setting 2. Color setting] is indicated on the display, setting selection treatment for selecting color setting or order setting is implemented by operating a numeral key [1] or [2] (S26). In this process, according to the selected order setting or color setting, setting for multicolor printing is done for the characters and signs of the input text.
