Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an accurate tape conveying speed by calculating a tape travel speed on the outer circumference of a winding drum from a pulse enumerated value corresponding to a revolving speed in the winding drum and the current drum diameter and the revolution being found out on the basis of tape and bill thickness, and driving and controlling it so as to set this speed at the setting speed.
SOLUTION: Pulses being outputted from a rotary encoder 11 according to rotation of a motor 10 are counted by a reversible counter 32, the enumerated value conforming to each position of two tapes T1 and T2 is secured. At this time, a count value is set at zero making a position corresponding to each detection output of two tape end sensors O11 and P12 at a time when a wound quantity on a winding rum 7 has come to be just zero, as a reference. Count output of the reversible counter 32 is inputted into a central processing unit(CPU) 31, and the data are processed, finding a travel position, a travel distance or travel speed of the tape, and these data are used for driving and controlling the motor 10 or the like accompanying bill transactions. In this connection, the motor 10 drives a tape speed controller by the output of the central processing unit 31 via a motor drive circuit 33.
