Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of folding back both ends in the width direction of a pressure sensitive adhesive tape while dragging them in, and accurately sticking the tape to right and left front door sashes and rear door sashes easily and quickly.
SOLUTION: This tape squeezing apparatus comprises: a channel-like recess 13 having a bottom wall 14 and a pair of side walls 15; a pair of inclined faces 16 disposed in a longitudinal direction on both sides of the recess 13 and inclined in the longitudinal direction of the recess 13; a main body 11 in which the inclined faces 16 and the recess 13 are formed; an extensible and retractable elastic sheet 19 disposed along the recess 13 and the inclined faces 16; a pair of squeeze levers 22 which are held reciprocatingly in the opposed direction of the paired side walls 15, and whose top ends located apart from the bottom wall 14 can be projected into the recess 13; a bracket 27 whose base end is pivotably connected to the central part of the main body in such a manner as to be freely flapped with the aid of a pin 28, and whose top end is projected from either one side of both the ends in the longitudinal direction of the recess; and a pressure sensitive adhesive tape guide roller 30 which is rotatably mounted at the top end of the bracket 27, and which can abut with one side end of a workpiece 12.
