Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stick a masking tape to a non-coating area while making a particular side surface, which is one of side surfaces, coincide with a boundary between the non-coating area and a coating area even when the coating area is present on one side in a width direction.SOLUTION: A tape sticking device includes a sticking mechanism (namely a scanning mechanism and tape sticking head) which sticks the masking tape 1f on a substrate 9, a moving mechanism which moves the tape sticking head in a direction perpendicular to a scanning direction, and a rotating mechanism which rotates the substrate 9 by 180°. Thus, even when the coating area 91 is present on one side in the width direction, the low cost masking tape 1f where the contact angle of a fluid material on the particular side surface 103a is larger than the contact angle of the fluid material on a principal surface 90 of the substrate 9 can be attached to the non-coating area 92 while making a lower edge 124 on the particular side surface 103a side coincide with the boundary 920 of the non-coating area 92 and the coating area 91.
