Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the tension applied to a tape from becoming too large or too small by applying tension to the tape via a tape guide connected to a hollow rotary shaft with torque resistance and rotated and winding the tape on a linear body traveling through the hollow rotary shaft.

CONSTITUTION: For tape winding, a tape 12 is extracted from a tape pad 3 fixed on a hollow rotary shaft 2 rotatively driven by a motor 11 and is wound on a linear body 1 traveling in the arrow direction through the hollow rotary shaft 2. The tape guide 6 is applied with rotation torque resistance due to the friction resistance between a friction pad 8 connected to the spline 7 of the hollow rotary shaft 2 and pressed to the friction face 9 of the tape guide 6 by a spring 10 and the friction face 9 of the tape guide 6. Accordingly, constant tension is invariably applied to the tape 12.
