Abstract:
To provide a taper reamer capable of improving machining accuracy by improving the rigidity, machinability and chip discharging ability of the reamer.
In a taper reamer 11 with cutting edge part 13 comprising a plurality of cutting edges 14 formed at the tip part of the shank part 12 to be held by a machine tool, the cutting edge part 13 is provided with 6 to 10 tapered cutting edges 14, the lead angle α of which is set to 4 to 6° and the face angle of which is set to 8 to 12°, and the blade tips of the cutting edges 14 are formed into round land L of 0.05 to 0.15mm.
