Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide tapered twisted integral shroud turbine blade that is in the shape designed most suitably to have resistance against high cycle fatigue fracture.
CONSTITUTION: A tapered twisted rotating blade 30 has a shroud segment 30c integrally formed on the tip of the airfoil portion 30b, and the shroud segment 30c is dimensioned according to materials used. Therefore, based on changes of Young's modulus due to use of different materials, the tuned frequencies remain the same regardless of the materials used.
