A first 280 and a second rotary member 282 holding ratchet pawls 284 and 286 rotate a ratchet wheel 276 and sprocket 272 with positive direction rotating and feed taping electric components, and make preparation for the feed with reverse rotating. The rotation of a DC motor 300 is converted into oppositely directed, same angle reciprocations of the first 280 and second rotary members 282 by a motion converting device including a plate cam, bell crank lever 308, and coupling links 310 and 312. In case the component holding pitch is equal to the feed amount due to one feeding motion of the first 280 and second rotary members 282, the sprocket 272 is driven one run, and in case twice or more, the first 280 and second rotary members 282 are driven in a plurality of runs alternately, and thereby electric components are fed without interruption.
