Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the strength of a valve mechanism having a rotary valve wherein a slide face for choking suction and exhaust passages is provided together with a penetration hole for opening said passages, by making a coupling groove for the connecting member of the rotary valve have a phase angle with the axial line of the penetration hole and enlarging the wall thickness of the groove. CONSTITUTION:A rotary valve mechanism 10 is, for example, a double ball valve and constituted by a primary valve structure 10a comprising valve seats 11 and 12, a rotary valve A and a seal spring 14, a secondary valve body 10b as similarly comprised, a connection member 17 with the valve bodies 13 and 13' of each rotary valve A and A', and another connection member 18 of the valve body 13 and the rotary shaft 34 of a dynamic valve mechanism. In the aforesaid constitution, coupling projections 17a, 17b, 18a and 18b are provided on both sides of each connecting part 17 and 18 dephased by 45 deg., while coupling grooves 13e, 13f and 34a are formed on each rotary valve A and A', and the rotary shaft side 34 for connection to said projections. And the axial lines of the coupling grooves 13e and 13f are made to have a phase angle with the axial line of a penetration hole 13b.
