Abstract:
To provide a tar decomposition catalyst which has an excellent catalytic activity for decomposition and removal of tar in a gas produced by gasification of biomass and excellent resistance to deposition of carbon.
The catalyst is used to decompose tar in a gas produced on thermal decomposition of biomass and consists of a perovskite type compound oxide of formula ABO
