To provide a target follow-up device capable of exactly tracking the target by using Kalman filter.
The target follow-up device includes a radar receiver, a sample selection section and a tracking filter section. The radar receiver receives a reflection wave of a transmission wave which comes from an illuminator and reflected by the target, and acquires an angle to the target and a reception power of the reflection wave on the basis of the received reflection wave. The sample selection section decides whether a reception power value is being decreased or not, by a specified value or more from a reference value to be set based on a past reception power, and when being decreased by the specified value or more from the reference value, the acquired angle and the reception power are removed, and when they are not being decreased by the specified value or more from the reference value, the acquired angle and the reception power are output. The tracking filter section estimates the track as to the target angle on the basis of the angle and the reception power output from the sample selection section.
