To obtain a target-movement display and control apparatus in which the direction of another moving body is observed by a moving body, in which its position and its movement speed are displayed and by which the moving body can be steered automatically.
This apparatus is provided with a position-information input means 1 wherein position information which can specify the latitude, the longitude and the height of a desired observation point as well as the position of the observation point in the time in which the position of the observation point is observed can be inputted, and information on the time in which the position information is observed can be inputted. The apparatus is provided with a target-direction input means 2 wherein direction information which can specify a direction in the time in which a desired target is imaged from an imaging device can be inputted, and information on the time in which the direction information is observed can be inputted. The apparatus is provided with a target-movement capturing means 3 wherein, when the position of the observation point is not moved on the basis of information to be inputted from the respective means and on the basis of map information, it is utilized that the position of the target is observed even on the basis of only the direction information by the target-direction input means 2 and that its speed can be computed and the position and the movement speed in the time in which the direction of the target is specified can be computed. The apparatus is provided with an object-movement display means 4 by which information obtained by the respective means is displayed on a display.
