In a target position identification device 10A, a visual axis measuring section 31 measures a visual axis of a camera 11 and a screen center coordinate calculation section 32 calculates a screen center coordinate of the camera 11 from the visual axis as well as an object distance measured by a laser range-finding section 13. A target coordinate identification section 35 calculates central reference distances which are distances from the calculated screen center coordinate in longitudinal as well as lateral directions and identifies positional coordinates of respective targets by adding the central reference distances to the screen center coordinate.
