Title:
'TATAMI' MAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3766961
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a 'tatami' mat that is lighter in weight and lible to be executable, besides excellent in aesthetic properties by laminating a nonslip sheet on the backside of a 'tatami' structure laminated with 'tatami' matting, consisting of an artificial rush, on a 'tatami' floor being composed of a synthetic resin sheet and a core.
SOLUTION: A 'tatami' surface 1 consisting of an artificial rush, is laminated on a 'tatami' floor 2 being composed of a combination of a synthetic resin sheet A and a core B, forming a 'tatami' structure, and a nonslip sheet 4 is laminated on the backside. In this case, it is desirable that all these constituent members are made up of thermoplastic resin, especially polyolefin resin. In addition, it is also desirable that total thickness in the 'tatami' structure is set to be less than 20mm, further it is less than 10mm, if possible. With this constitution, flooring execution can be done lightly and easily, and further the 'tatami' mat sticks fast to the floor and hard to move, besides being stable enough, and thus such flooring as being excellent in aesthetic properties and fashionableness is securable.
