Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a fare for using which a user can easily understand and to easily revise the fare at that time by permitting a taximeter to share the measurement of a hired travel distance and permitting an attached exterior unit to operate and display the fare for using.
SOLUTION: Hired travel distance data measured by the taximeter is transmitted to the different attached exterior unit 200. When a fare operation means 210 operates fare data for using corresponding to travel distance data measured by the taximeter 100 based on a previously decided taxi fare system, a fare display means 220 displays the operated taxi fare in the attached exterior unit 200. All setting data on the present taxi fare system as well as data of an operation rule are stored in a setting data storage means 230. The obscurity of fare display, which happens to be the display of two types of fares, can be dissolved and setting data can immediately be rewritten when the fare system is revised.
