Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a button operation in the case of misoperation or cancellation by a passenger.
SOLUTION: The taximeter 10 is equipped with a 'hired' button 12, an 'extra-fare' button 13, a 'pay' button 14, a 'called' button 15, a 'vacant' button 15, and a 'total' button 17 as operation buttons for setting various operation modes. When a service tariff button for indicating the start of a process (service tariff process) in operation mode of a service state such as the 'hired' button 12 is pressed, the following service traffic process can be canceled without updating the management index corresponding to the service tariff process by pressing the 'vacant' button 16 in a cancelable period of a certain time (several to tens to seconds) after the button operation.
