Abstract:

To provide a tea beverage packed in a container, inhibited or prevented from occurrence of floc while maintaining the flavor originally possessed by tea.

The tea beverage packed in the transparent plastic container is prepared by blending a plurality of tea leaves or a plurality of extracts of tea leaves containing (A) three kinds of quinic acid-3-gallate (theogallin), quinic acid-4-gallate and quinic acid-5-gallate, and (B) aluminum of 0.105-0.43 mg/100 ml, regulated so that the ratio of the components (A) to (B) by weight [ (A)/(B) ] is 1.0-60, and/or adding at least one or more selected from ammonium aluminum sulfate (burnt ammonium alum) or potassium aluminum sulfate (burnt alum), and ammonium aluminum sulfate 12 hydrate (ammonium alum) or potassium aluminum sulfate 12 hydrate (alum or potassium alum), and tea extracts.
