Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove tea-incrustation, etc., attached to the mesh of a rotary mesh drum and to scrape off steamed leaves fallen on the bottom of a covering drum by blasting air through a number of nozzles of an ejection pipe against the rotary mesh drum and the covering drum of a tea-leaf steaming machine.
CONSTITUTION: This steaming machine is provided with an ejection pipe 5 having a number of nozzles opened against a rotary mesh drum of 21 of the steaming machine and with an ejection pipe 6 having a number of nozzles opened against the bottom of a covering drum 22. Air is supplied to the ejection pipes with a compressor 52 to blast air against the mesh of the rotary mesh drum and the bottom of the covering drum.
