To provide a tea-leaf steaming machine which can sufficiently stir tea leaves, which can homogeneously steam the tea leaves and which has the high efficiency of tea-leaf steaming treatment.
A supporting frame 11, to which a trough 3 is fixed, is connected to an eccentric shaft 16 via a link mechanism 20. The trough 3 and the rotation of the eccentric shaft 16 makes the supporting frame 11 vibrated upward, downward, forward and backward, while elastically deforming a diagonally slanted leaf spring 12. The tea leaves are conveyed forward while being scattered, scurried and turned upside down in a steaming chamber 2 by the upward, downward, forward and backward vibrations of the trough 3. Thus, the tea leaves are rapidly steamed without unevenness in steaming by coming into uniform contact with steam.
