Abstract:

PURPOSE: To heat water to appropriate temperature for tea to be made.

CONSTITUTION: An alcohol temperature gauge 3 is mounted to a base 2 and the names 4 of various kinds of tea are written on the portion of the base 2 adjacent the temperature indicating positions of the alcohol temperature gauge 3 which correspond to the appropriate hot water temperatures for the various kinds of tea to be made. In place of the alcohol temperature gauge 3 the names of tea, etc., may be printed using temperature-indicating ink which is colored at appropriate hot water temperature for tea to be made. Also, a display portion may be provided for specific kinds of tea only. When the tea temperature gauge 1 is left in hot water it shows at first glance when the hot water reaches the appropriate temperature for any kind of tea to be made, so anyone can easily heat water to the appropriate temperature for tea to be made.
