PURPOSE: To facilitate the pouring of brewed liquid from a spout after a brewing process by providing the inner lower section of a teapot body with a support for supporting the lower side of a filter, and an adhesion preventing section forward of an opening communicating with the spout for preventing the occurrence of adhesion between the opening and the filter.
CONSTITUTION: A filter support member 5 is formed out of a pair of rod materials 5a approximately parallel to each other, and both ends of the member 5 are fastened to the lower portion 11 of the inner wall 10 of a teapot body 1. Also, the rod materials 5a are integrally made of the same earthenware as a vessel forming the teapot body 1. A gap between the rod materials 5a is taken at approximately between 1 and 3cm. Furthermore, a filter adhesion preventing portion 6 is laid forward of an opening 9 communicating with the brewed liquid spout 3 of the teapot body 1, and used to prevent a decrease in the pouring amount of brewed liquid resulting from the adhesion of the opening 9 to a filter. Also, the portion 6 is formed out of a single or a plurality of rod bodies 6, and both ends thereof are fixed via a slight gap 13 to the inner wall of the body 1 at the right and left positions of the opening 9 communicating with the spout 3, parallel to the bottom of a teapot bottom 12.
