To provide a tear-off type ticket applied with a forgery preventing countermeasure, capable of obtaining a forgery preventing effect comparatively inexpensively and capable of checking and confirming at first a forgery ticket through an act wherein the ticket is used actually (the act of tearing the half ticket off, for example).

A paper 10, employed for the tear-off type ticket or the like, is constituted of a bonded paper consisting of three layers while the center layer is a colored paper layer 15 and a front layer 12 as well as a rear layer 13 are formed of a white paper whereby the decision of a genuine ticket or a forgery ticket is facilitated by the exposure of end surface at the cut-off part of the colored paper layer of the center layer after tearing the half of the ticket off. In this case, half cuts 11, provided at the cut-off part from the front layer and the rear layer, are positioned slightly different from each other. Further, the positions of the half-cut are characterized in the provision at different positions within the range of not less than 0.5 mm and not more than 5 mm between the positions on the front surface and the rear surface of the ticket.
