PURPOSE: To provide the telemeter device which operates without replacing a transmission-side power source for a long period.

CONSTITUTION: A solar battery 2 fitted on the outer peripheral surface of a rotary body 6 is used as the power source for a converter 3 and a transmitter 4 which are fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary body 6. A signal indicating the torque or temperature of the rotary body 6 is supplied from the transmitter 4 to a recorder 9 through a transmitting antenna 5, a receiving antenna 7, and a receiver 8, and then recorded. As long as the solar battery is irradiated with light, electric power can be supplied to the converter 3 and transmitter 4 for a long period to enable long-time measuring.
