Title:
TELEPHONE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3941760
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone device capable of preventing a holding state from being prolonged by making the user of a slave set recognize that an external line is in a holding state.
SOLUTION: The telephone device 1 is provided with a master set 1a and slave sets 1b and 1c. If the connection between the master set 1a and a call destination set is in a holding state, an extension talking is performed between the slave sets 1b and 1c, and the slave sets 1b and 1c are not operated for a predetermined time or more; the slaves sets 1b and 1c each ring a call tone to inform that the connection with the call destination set is in a holding state. Accordingly, the user of the slave set is made to recognize that the connection is in a holding state, and the holding state is prevented from being prolonged. Also, if radio waves are not received from the slave sets 1b and 1c, since the master set 1a searches a communication channel which can be communicated prior to ringing a call tone and reconnects the external call to the communication channel before notification, the call destination device can be positively connected to any one of the slave sets before notification.
