Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method and a system by which both voice and data communications are available by a telephone set.
SOLUTION: When an external call is received from an external line, while a PHS slave set 14 is in communication by using a channel of a PHS master set 12, the PHS master set 12 detects the external line call and holds the call, gives an instruction of communication interruption to the PHS slave set 14 using the channel of the PHS master set 12. The PHS slave set 14, upon receiving the instruction, interrupts the communication via the PHS master set 12 and re-connects to the interrupted communication destination to restart communication via a PHS base station 18 and the PHS master set 12 connects the external line being held to a other PHS slave set 13 to allow it to make communication. The above method is the proposed telephone line changeover method by PHS.
