Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the telephone line test equipment by which a telephone line is properly and exclusively tested without using a conventional telephone set.
SOLUTION: After a specific telephone number from a dial memory 2 by the depression of a start button 1 is sent to an exchange from an interface circuit 6 via a control circuit 5, a dial signal from a dial button 4 is validated and sent to the telephone line under the control of the control circuit 5. Then a test use telephone number is sent to the exchange by the validated dial signal from the dial button 4 to conduct a test of the telephone line and the successive transmission of the dial signal from the dial button 4 to the telephone line is rejected in response to an end number generated by the operation of the dial button at the end of the test.
