Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a telephone set storage device for an automobile excellent in convenience of use with high serviceableness by simplifying handling operation.
CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a glove compartment use box 18 vertically movably supported in a console main unit 11 through a link mechanism 16, telephone set storing intermediate box 24 supported on the box 18, supporting shaft 26 rotatably mounted on one end part of the intermediate box 24, bearing part 27 for the supporting shaft 26 provided in the box 18 and an arm 30 for connecting a door 12, openably/closably mounted on the console main unit 11, to the supporting shaft 26. The intermediate box 24 and the box 18 are lifted, associated with opening/closing the door 12.
