Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of an electric signal to an external device or input of illegal electric signal from the external device by detecting the number of revolutions of a 1st feed roller of the telephone set so as to detect the presence of illegal wiring of an IC card.
CONSTITUTION: When an IC card 110 is inserted from a card insert port 106 for the use, after the IC card 110 reaches a 2nd feed roller 102 and detaches from the 1st feed roller 101 and starts carrying up to a final position, the 1st feed roller 101 is turned in a reverse direction to a turning direction to insert the card and detects the number of revolutions within a specified time. Only when the detected number of revolutions per unit time is within the specified number, and the contact pins 105 are brought into contact with terminals of the IC card 110 for the communication. Thus, when the regular IC card 110 is utilized, the communication is available and when an illegal IC card 110 is used, illegal wiring is detected to prevent the use of the illegal IC card 110.
