Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a telephone set body when watching the screen of a display body with the display body removed from the telephone set body by operating the telephone set body as a telephone set regardless of the attachment and detachment of the display body and also independently performing a display operation of the display body when it is removed from the telephone set body. SOLUTION: A portable telephone consists of a telephone set body which can be independently used as a portable telephone and an IC card 2 as a display body which can be independently used as an electronic notebook in a freely attachable and detachable way. The card 2 is a thin-walled rectangle in the form of a card which has a display screen 11 and has an input pen containing part 13 so that an input pen 12 can be attached in a freely attachable and detachable way. Also, when the card 2 is removed from the telephone set body and is used as the electronic notebook, the pen 12 is taken out of the card 2 and a necessary operation can be performed on the screen 11 of the card 12 which is the electronic notebook.
