Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce dialing misses of the telephone, etc., by making a digital display by using LCD (liquid-crystal display element), LED (light-emission diode display element), EC (electrochromic display element), EL (electroluminescence display element), etc.
CONSTITUTION: At the upper parts of telephone set bodies 23 and 33, digital display unit 24 is provided which uses LED, etc. Digital display unit 24 displays a party-subscriber's telephone number, etc., by 12 digits including ten digits for numbers and two digits for hyphens. Digital display unit 34 provides a time display or clocking display, measuring the time, at the upper and a display of the party- subscriber's telephone number at the lower.
