PURPOSE: To realize additional function control more widely by detecting number of times of interruption of a call signal and starting notice when the number of times reaches a set number of times.
CONSTITUTION: The user of a cordless telephone set designates a slave set such as a slave set (c) among slave sets c-e so that the selected slave set is called or designates number of times of setting. A caller uses an external telephone set (a) to a cordless telephone set and hooks off when a ring back tone sent from a station exchange is listened to once, and the line is once interrupted. Then a master set (b) receives a call signal and detects its number of times of interruption and when line interruption is detected when the interruption at once being less than the setting number of times, the mode is automatically selected to the terminal designation mode. Furthermore, when a call comes within a set time, only the slave set (c) rings and the control mode is set. Furthermore, the additional function is surely subject to mode conversion the same as the control mode by using a specific number.
