Abstract:
To automatically acquire personal information regarding the other party during call, without having a user take special troubles at a telephone terminal.
When a silent period is detected, while conducting a call with the other terminal, notification of a user's personal information saved in a terminal of the other party is requested by a prescribed sound signal. In response to this request, personal information is extracted from the prescribed sound signal received from the terminal of the other party. The extracted personal information is registered to a telephone directory, associated with the telephone number of the terminal of the other party.
