PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of service of the titled telephone unit, by installing control desk which monitors the traffic condition and the telephone receiving condition of operators, and controls the response waiting condition of the information desk.

CONSTITUTION: A control desk 7 having functions which monitors the traffic condition and the telephone receiving condition of operators and controls the responding condition of information desks, is installed to a telephone unit for emergency medical service which has plural information desks 3a∼3n connected to a controlling device 1 and an auto-guide device 6 and whose incoming line 4 and outgoing line 5 are connected to the controlling device 1. Therefore, when all the information desks 3a∼3n are busy, a call is connected to the auto-guide device 6 and, when one information desk finishes its talking, the call is automatically connected to the information desk. Thus the information desks can answer any telephone calls without asking another call.
