Abstract:
To provide a telescopic boom capable of reducing the entire length of a boom in a fully contracted state.SOLUTION: An expansion mechanism of a telescopic boom comprises: a bracket 60 provided on the inner surface of an intermediate boom 32; an extending sheave 52 rotatably provided on the bracket 60; an extending wire, one part of which is supported by a base end boom, and the other part of which is supported by a tip boom, having the intermediate part wrapped round the extending sheave 52; and a fixing mechanism 70 which fixes the bracket 60 to the intermediate boom 32; where the fixing mechanism 70 is provided at a position which is offset to the tip side of the intermediate boom 32 with respect to the rotation center of the extending sheave 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
