To reduce the impact noises that a telescopic cover makes at its extension or retraction even during its use at a high speed and prevent breakage of its wipers, stoppers and cover elements.

The telescopic cover includes a plurality of cover elements 1 joined together for relative movement. At extension, wipers 8 arranged on the rear edge of the cover elements 1 other than the rearmost cover elements 1 are locked on their next rear cover element 1. At retraction, on the other, stoppers 10 placed on the front edge of the cover elements 1 other than the rearmost cover elements 1 are pressed on their next rear cover element 1. The cover elements 1 other than the rearmost cover elements 1 are each provided with a first leaf spring 11 adapted to be pressed against the next rear cover element 1 at extension before the associated wiper 8 butts against this next rear cover element 1, and a second leaf spring 13 adapted to be pressed against the next rear cover element 1 at retraction before the associated stopper 10 butts against this next rear cover element 1.
