Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to perform the simple, accurate mounting by mutually butting thin, short-tubular molded pieces against with each other at the extreme expanded ends of sliding, and to make their engaging and disengaging movement light and sure especially by engaging the pair of the molded pieces by click pawls.
CONSTITUTION: A thin, sort-tubular molded piece 8 is coupled into the inner surface of an original scale 1 so as to fill the gap with an intermediate scale 3. Furthermore, a thin short-tubular molded piece 9 is coupled to the outer surface of the opposite-end part of the intermediate scale 3 so as to fill the gap with the original scale 1 after the intermediate scale 3 is coupled into the original scale 1. In the surrounding wall of the original scale 1, a pair of engaging holes 13 for accepting fixing slant projections 12 respectively are provided. The molded pieces 8 and 9 are butted against with each other at the extreme expanded end positions of the intermediate scale 3 for the original scale 1 respectively and have butting surfaces 25 and 26, which act as the stoppers. The concave and protruding engagements are mated at the butting surfaces 25 and 26 by click pawls 27 and 28.
