PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of a device by a method wherein the motion generated by one driving source is converted into the axial direction motion and a rotary motion of a lance pipe with a few parts.

CONSTITUTION: The rotation generated by the starting of a motor 40 is transferred to a cylindrical cam 45 via gears 41, 42, a worm 43 and a worm wheel 44, then the cylindrical cam 45, a spindle 46 and a lance pipe 4 are rotated to the direction indicated by an arrow mark (c) or (d). Thereupon, a spiral groove 45a of the cylindrical cam 45 is engaged with at least one pin among pins 48 arranged at the casing 1 side, thereby, the cylindrical cam 45, the spindle 46 and the lance pipe 4 are moved to the direction of the arrow mark (a) or (b). Further, a pressure medium is transferred to the lance pipe 4 via a valve 2 and a pressure medium supplying pipe 3, and injected from a nozzle 5, accordingly, the deposit built up on the outer or inner surface of a heat exchanger and the like can be removed.
