Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain dialing by the same operation as the case of directly connected by generating a dial number '0' and a pause signal automatically to be connected to an exchange of a public line before a dial number of an opposite dial number even when an extension exchange is connected between the public line and a teletex device. CONSTITUTION:Since it is known as to whether the device is to be connected to an extension exchange at setup or connected directly to a public line, a parameter is set as the initial value. When the teletex device is connected to the extension device, the dial number '0' and the pause signal to be connected to the exchange of the public line are generated automatically between the dial number of an opposite party. Thus, it is not required for the operator to recognize as to whether the teletex device is connected to the public line via an extension exchange or connected directly to the public line. Thus, even when the teletex device is connected to the extension exchange or connected directly to the public line, the dial registration is applied the same for the operator.
