Abstract:
PURPOSE:To record and reproduce teletext data by extracting the teletext data from a broadcasting signal, digitally recording them onto a magnetic tape and after that, recording a video signal on them by another head. CONSTITUTION:The character data are extracted from the teletext signal inputted to a terminal 2 by a teletext data extracting circuit 17, they are rearranged to a fixed data arrangement together with digital data such as sound inputted from a terminal and recorded onto the magnetic tape by a head 7. On the other hand, the video signal from which the character data are extracted is recorded onto the magnetic tape by a head 6. In this case, the azimuth angles of the heads 6 and 7 are different, the data are first recorded onto the magnetic tape by the head 7 and after that, the signal is recorded on them by the head 6. At the time of reproducing, the digital data in the deep layer part of the magnetic tape are read by a head 9 having the same azimuth angle as the head 7 and on the side of the video signal, a signal in a surface layer part of the magnetic tape is reproduced by a head 8 having the same angle as the head 6.
