Abstract:

To provide a television broadcast receiver allowing for easy selection of a desired net application without providing a dedicated key.

A controller of the television broadcast receiver artificially processes each of net applications as one of the choice of "input object" and/or "reception channel" and if the choice of "input object" and/or "reception channel" corresponding to a net application is chosen, the net application corresponding to the chosen "input object" and/or "reception channel" is started.
