Title:
TELEVISION CAMERA SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TELEVISION CAMERA, CONTROLLER, AND TELEVISION CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3457038
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption and to suppress the heat generation of a television (TV1) camera by turning TV cameras other than a selected one to a non-operation state.
CONSTITUTION: A selection signal generating circuit 21 built in a camera controller 2 generates a selection signal commanding the selection/non-selection of a TV camera based upon control or the like from the external. The selection signal is inputted to a control circuit 11 built in a TV camera 1a through a cable 41a. The circuit 11 generates a signal for instructing operation to a clock generating circuit 12 and a camera side power supply circuit 13. At the time of receiving the control signal, the circuits 12, 13 respectively held at stopped states respectively send a clock and power supply to a signal processing circuit 14 and other circuits necessary for driving the camera. On the other hand, the circuit 21 sends a non-selection signal to unselected TV cameras 1b to 1d to stop their operation.
