PURPOSE: To prevent generation of the electric noise which disturbs the picture of a television camera, by inserting a conductive material having a light transmission preperty into a light fiux passing part to shield the electric noise mixed from the optical system part of the image pickup lens system.

CONSTITUTION: Transparent conductive material 22 where indium oxide, a Nesa film, etc., are evaporated on a glass suvstrate is inserted to the camera body side of lens mount part 21 which is the open end of a camera shield. By this constitution, the electromagnetic wave which enters from the lens mount open part at the shield open end of the TV camera is shielded by this transparent conductive material 22 and has no influence on the pickup tube and the deflecting coil part, so that a TV picture without noise disturbance can be obtained even in case of image pickup under a strong electric field. Otherwise, a similar effect can be obtained if a conductive transparent thin film is evaporated on lens side face 23 of the pickup tube face plate.
