PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television intercom device capable of suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: In a television intercom system for performing the switching between a first communication mode for performing radio communication between an indoor monitor or a telephone master unit and an entrance slave unit under a predetermined condition, and a second communication mode having lower power consumption smaller than the first communication mode, the communication mode is switched from the first communication mode to the second communication mode when the indoor monitor registers the entrance slave unit, and the communication mode is switched from the second communication system to the first communication system when the telephone master unit registers the entrance slave unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
