PURPOSE: To obtain pictures of high image resolution by wobbling the video signal of a wide band wobbled by a transmitter also at the picture receiving side synchronously with a picture transmission signal.
CONSTITUTION: The deflecting coils 16 of image pickup tubes 1, 2 and 3 are driven by the horizontal and vertical scan synchronizing signals sent from a color synchronizing signal generator 15 via a deflecting amplifier 17. Thus the signal of an oscillator 11 generates a pilot signal via a 1/5 counter 13 and then a wobbling synchronizing signal through a 1/3 counter 18. A wobbling signal is generated 19 from said synchronizing signal to drive an auxiliary deflecting coil 20 via an auxiliary deflecting amplifier 21. The amplitude of the amplifier 21 is set so that the auxiliary deflection is possible for 1/3 between a lines and two lines, for example, in the vertical direction. As a result, it is possible to extract a video signal of a wide band with horizontal and vertical image resolutions trebled by auxiliary deflection out of image pickup tubes 1∼3. This video signal is wobbled at the picture receiving side in response to the transmitter side.
