Abstract:
PURPOSE: To video-record a broardcasting program under receiving by simple constitution by displaying information of a sound multplex mode under receiving with the display of a video-recording setting picture.
CONSTITUTION: A sound multiplex mode discrimination circuit 4 discriminates a present sound multiplex mode to convert discriminated stereo, duplexed sound and monaural identification signals to data showing the sound multiplex mode to be stored as display data 1. When video recording is set by operating a key part 9 or an operation key for video-recording a specified sound multiplex mode in a remote control part 10, setting picture data of the sound multiplex mode are stored as display data 2. Then, display data 1 and 2 are superimposed by a video signal at a matrix circuit 8 and displayed on CRT 2 with the video signal. When a viewer confirms the present sound multiplex mode, switches the sound multiplex mode and releases specification, the picture returns to be that with only an original video signal to start video-recording.
