Abstract:
To provide a television receiver incorporating four speakers in addition to two left/right speakers to make a listener enjoy sound much more full of presence at input of 5.1 ch sound.
At input of 2nd channel sound, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th speaker components generated by a synthesis circuit 10 are outputted to speakers 5, 6, 7, 8 through a sound output changeover circuit 9. At input of 5.1 ch sound, a sound output changeover circuit 9 automatically discriminates the input to output components from the 5.1 ch sound input assigned to the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th speakers to the speakers 5, 6, 7, 8.
